Western Cablex Engineering Private Limited was incorporated in 1999 with a focused mandate: to manufacture high-quality heat-shrinkable cable jointing systems for India's growing power and telecommunications infrastructure. Founded by Mr. Aravind Nair, the company played an early role in introducing heat-shrink cable jointing technology into the Indian market at a time when the sector relied heavily on imported products. Over 25 years, that founding commitment to manufacturing excellence has remained the core of everything the company does.
Today, Western Cablex operates a 15,000+ sq ft manufacturing facility where every stage of production — raw material selection, compounding, extrusion, assembly, and pre-dispatch inspection — is controlled entirely in-house. The company holds ISO certification to three international standards, RDSO approval for Indian Railways applications, and CPRI type-test certification for power sector supply. These are not credentials collected for credibility — they are active, audited systems that govern how every product is made and verified before it leaves the facility.
